There is one last EQUIP Seminar this coming Sunday night, and it’s one that I think will be of great benefit to our church. We’ve asked Rupert Leary to do a 2 hour training session on evangelism. He’s going to give us tips and tools to on becoming better at, and training others on becoming better at sharing the gospel with your friends and neighbors.
Rupert is on staff at Summit church as a college pastor and is our Director of Campus Outreach. He has shared the gospel hundreds of times, mainly in a one-on-one setting, and he’s trained dozens to do the same. In January, the small groups team had him speak to Summit Small Group Leaders at the Small Group Leader Rally. The response to his training was so positive that we decided to allow him to speak to our whole congregation at EQUIP.
This seminar is for anyone who wants more confidence and skill in sharing the gospel. This seminar is also for anyone who wants to lead and train others for evangelism. The Seminar will take place on Sunday night, at the Brier Creek Campus South Venue, from 6-8pm. We have childcare for those who RSVP. Hope to see you then!
