1. Forty percent of church members say they overspend monthly;
2. About 80 million families in the US would say that they are in financial trouble. And this is after 50 years of almost unparalleled prosperity.
3. Thirty-six percent of those who owe more than $10,000 on their cards have household incomes under $50,000.
