Bob and Kelly joined a small group after attending GroupLINK in August.  If you’re not currently in a small group, make plans to be a part of GroupLINK this weekend at your campus!

Kelly and I started attending the Summit shortly after we got married. We quickly liked the church and enjoyed learning from Pastor J.D.’s sermons. After attending for several weeks, we wanted to get more involved and not feel lost in the crowd. Shortly after, Summit held “Group Link,” encouraging both guests and members to join a small group.

We have been regularly attending a small group for several months now. After meeting others from the Summit, we now feel a stronger connection when we come to church. We value having people we see weekly to discuss God’s word, share how our weeks are going, dive deeper into the sermons, and most importantly, to pray and work together to spread the Gospel.

Kelly and I greatly encourage people to take the first step and try out a small group. The risk and vulnerability involved is worth the friendships you will make and connection you will experience both to the group and Summit. It really makes you feel like more than a face in a crowd.

It’s easy, just show up at your campus this weekend, look in the worship guide for descriptions of small groups in your area, and listen for instructions in what to do next.  The whole process will only take a few minutes, and it will likely open the door for some great fellowship!
