Songwriters Summit: NEW TIME!0

Our monthly Songwriters Summit is beginning one hour earlier, starting this Saturday at 9:00 AM!  The Songwriters Summit is an opportunity for potential songwriters to network with one another and work together towards writing songs that glorify Jesus, edify the Church, and testify of what God is doing here at our church.

Matt Papa, an experienced worship leader and gifted songwriter, leads the Songwriters Summit.  We’ll begin with some introductory thoughts from Matt about the writing process, then we’ll split up into small groups and do some co-writing (for an hour or two), and after that we’ll come back together to share/encourage/critique/etc.  By the end of our session, you should hopefully walk away with a completed song and some great relationships with other writers!

The Songwriters Summit is geared towards anyone with a desire to learn more about songwriting, regardless of previous experience.  Whether you want to write lyrics, music, or both, you won’t want to miss this exciting opportunity. And, if you have friends from another church who might want to join us at the Songwriters Summit, invite them too!  Here’s the details…

NEW Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Brier Creek Campus, meet in Summit Kids area
Need to bring: a Bible, a simple recording device like a cell phone or laptop, and (if necessary) your instrument
