Ok, there is enough going on here at the Summit Church to warrant a blog post to keep you in the loop. If you are not here at the Summit you can read on and consider yourself informed, or check back tomorrow for a new post. So here are the big rocks right now

BELIEVE
We are right at a year into our three year BELIEVE project. We have hit some major milestones and are on the cusp of some major decisions right now as a church. To celebrate and talk through those things, our elders have called a church conference for Monday February 15th at 7pm at our Brier Creek Campus.

SUMMIT MARRIAGE CONFERENCE “What did you expect?”
We intentionally do not do a lot of programs at the Summit because we want you to live life with fellow believers and those in your community. The cost of that decision is that we do not have an expansive offering of life-stage specific programs. To try and make up for that when we do something life-stage specific, we try and do it really well. That is most definitely going to be the case for the Summit’s Marriage Conference on March 12-13. We are bringing in one of the most influential authors & speakers in the country on Marriage and Family to lead this conference: Paul David Tripp. Everyone is welcome. My wife and I are missing a wedding of a close friend for it & my small group is making a retreat out of it because getting help with our own marriage is just that critical to us. Hear me: do not wait until your marriage “needs counseling” to get it. That is a recipe for failure.

WOMENS BIBLE STUDY
At our Cole Mill Campus and our Brier Creek Campus, we are offering a small group opportunity for women on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. Childcare is provided and you can get more information on what is going on at each campus from these two awesome ladies:

EPHESIANS SERMON SERIES
Our small groups are studying through Ephesians along with our Pastor and so far we are having an awesome time with it. Yesterday our pastor delivered a bangin’ sermon on 1:15-23 you can watch & hear here. Our groups studied that same passage to prepare for the message and will be in 2:1-10 this week getting ready for the sermon this coming weekend.
