Feb 2012 14

I’ve been going to church every Sunday for 32 years, and this past weekend’s was easily one of the best weekend experiences I’ve ever had.  The celebration of ten years of God working in our midst was phenomenal!

Part of the testimony of this past weekend was how a church that had lost its vision became renewed in its original purpose.  For the next two months at the EQUIP: Leadership Forums, Pastor J.D. will walk us through the “Summit Plumblines”-  the principles that we’ve used and discovered in our ten year journey as a church.

We think this is just the beginning (the first quarter) of God’s purpose for Summit Church.  As we move forward, we want to raise up thousands of leaders for the church and the community.  That’s why we started the EQUIP: Leadership Forums (RSVP for the February 21st event)!   We’ve added cohorts for the second hour, so be sure to look at what’s offered on the Forums webpage:  www.summitrdu.com/leadership.

If you need childcare for the event, the childcare RSVP closes Sunday night at midnight, so be sure to do that soon.

We packed the house for this last month, so we need about 50 volunteers to help us host the event, many of whom can still attend all or most of the event.  Contact us about helping to host here.
