Pray:
-Check out this video and pray for the points below,
Praise God for the staggering growth of believers in China- from 2.7 million evangelicals in 1975 to over 75 million in 2010! Much growth is among the majority Han Chinese. But there have also been networks of growing house churches among minority groups who had no Christian influence as recent as 1990.
-More Christians are imprisoned in China than in any other country. House churches are illegal and are frequently raided. Leaders are being arrested and tortured. Though there are a few state-recognized churches, they are intensely controlled by the government.
-Pray for churches to be healthy and God-honoring. Theologically sound churches are difficult to find with the lack of Bibles and seminaries.
-Pray for sanctity of life as children are often viewed as expensive burdens rather than gifts. Although restrictions have lossened, the grievous ‘one-child policy’ remains and over 13 million abortions are performed each year.
-Pray against materialism, corruption, and moral decline. Ask that Chinese would know wealth and joy that would never fade found in Christ.
