Pray

-  Pray that the LORD’s name would be made great among the nation of Djibouti.  Mission work is a challenge in a land where the heat, humidity, and working conditions are extreme.  Ask the LORD to continue to send his workers to the mission field there.

-  Praise the LORD for the freedom that is available in Djibouti.  Western military presence, due to the strategic location, helps foster a climate of peace and safety.  Pray that this freedom remains and is not eroded by the unstable military leaders surrounding Djibouti.

-  There are many serious social and economic problems that continue to plague Djibouti:  notable widespread famine, extreme unemployment and the rising urban issues of human trafficking, prostitution and drug abuse.  Pray for fruitful ministry amid abject poverty and human suffering.
