Pray:
-Praise God for the opportunity that Kenya presents as a continental hub for Christian ministry. Kenyans are beginning to catch the vision of international missions, going out to minister to other African peoples. Pray that God would continue to grow his church in Kenya and give them a passion for the spread of the Gospel.
-Corruption is widespread in the Kenyan government and is a major barrier to the alleviation of poverty for the nation’s people. Pray for a government in Kenya that would seek justice and honesty for its people.
-With the rapid spread of Christianity, nominalism has become a major problem. Less than one tenth of proclaiming Christians in Kenya are part of a church body. Pray that discipleship would continue to improve and proclaiming Christians would have true spiritual growth.
-Pray that the critical demographics of the Kenyan population would be effectively reached with the light of the Gospel. HIV/AIDS affects many people. Pray for the spiritual and physical healing of those suffering from the disease and for the orphans left behind.
