Pray for Kyrgyzstan
“But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:14-15

Pray:
- Pray for continual strength for the Christians who live in this overwhelmingly Muslim country. There is growing hostility from the government towards religious expression that may cause social or political instability. Believers also face intimidation, property destruction, and violence from extremist groups.
- Praise the LORD for how the church in Kyrgyzstan has grown! Kyrgyzstan’s laws allow for more religious freedom and greater access to Scripture than its neighboring countries. Pray that God will use His Word to advance His kingdom both within Kyrgyzstan and beyond its borders.
- Pray that those who know Christ in Kyrgyzstan act out the verses in 1 Peter 3:14-15. Pray that they may show kindness and respect to those in authority, even while suffering persecution.
