Pray:
-Pray for the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing for nearly 80% of the Lebanese population that has been displaced at some time during the wars and violence of the past century. Praise God for the grace, vision, and commitment to outreach of the evangelicals in Lebanon towards those who were uprooted during a conflict in 2006.
-Pray for stability in a country that has been very politically unstable. Ask that the government would rule for the good of its people and continue to protect their rights. Praise God for the religious freedom that exists, as Lebanon is the only Middle Eastern country where changing religious affiliation is legal.
-Praise God for renewed openness in the minds of the Lebanese. There is a growing number of converts from other religious communities. Pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to bring people to know and be reconciled to the Savior of the world.

I am a Lebanese student living in Lebanon and serving in a local church (Faith Baptist Church) as a youth and young adults leader. I am very much encouraged to know that some saints from the states will be joining us in prayer for my country. We really need it. God has been doing some promising work in the midst of us and He is raising up some leaders after His own heart who long to see God glorified and the name of our Lord Jesus lifted up over every other name. Considering our strategic position in the Middle East we are also praying and attempting to be a light for all the surrounding Muslim countries, especially Syria at the moment.
