Pray for Malaysia

Is God the God of the Jews only?  Is he not the God of the Gentiles too?  Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.     -Romans 3:29-30

Pray:

-A  shipment of 30,000 Bibles was recently detained by the Malaysian government.  The Bibles are in the language of the ethnic Malay people who are Muslim and make up around half the country’s population.  It is illegal for Malay to convert to another religion or for someone to share information about another religion with them.  The government said that the Bibles can only be released if they are stamped with a warning from the Home Minister:  <<For the use of Christians only.>>  Praise God that Christ came not just to save Christians, but the whole world!  Pray that the good news would be made known to all the people of Malaysia, despite severe restrictions.

-  Praise god for His Bride in Malaysia.  The Church is slowly growing and uniting across racial and denominational divides.  Pray for courage as they face discrimination.  Ask the LORD to raise up more godly leadership within the Christian community.  Pray for Muslims who put their faith in Jesus and then face harsh persecution from their family, community, and government.  Ask that God would help them stay strong in faith, love, and the Word.
