Pray:

- President Bashar al-Assad has finally conceded to protestors’ demand to repeal Syria’s state of emergency, which has been in effect since 1963.  The government has used emergency law to control and suppress protests, among other things, which have led to 200 deaths in the past month alone.  Pray that Syrians would see a state of spiritual emergency.  Ask that, along with political change, would come a new wave of spiritual transformation.

- Two thousand years ago, a man was stopped on his journey to Damscus and blinded by the One he was persecuting.  He was told by Jesus to continue to the city where his vision was restored and he later became known as the apostle Paul.  Pray that today’s Sauls would be confronted with Jesus and respond in a life of worship.  Pray for believers like Ananias to receive their enemies with love and boldness in Christ.  Ask that God would give believers strength to overcome longstanding religious, cultural, and spiritual barriers for unity in Christ.
