Pray:
- Praise God for the growth of a witnessing Church amidst years of persecution. A significant turning to God is occurring, resulting in increased numbers of churches, both registered and unregistered.
- The Communist government of Vietnam poses challenges to growth. The government often sponsors slander campaigns of the Christian faith and is usually uncooperative with the church. Pray that Christians in Vietnam would remain faithfully persistent during these times of repression.
- The Vietnamese diaspora, displaced by religious, political, and economic strife, is seeing many come to faith. These believers are now bringing the Gospel back to Vietnam with them. Pray for these displaced Vietnamese to be reached and for their perseverance as they take the Gospel to their countrymen.
- Social ills are on the increase in Vietnam. The prevalence of drug addiction, Aids, and prostitution/exploitation of children are increasing. Pray that the light of the Gospel will flood the ideological and moral darkness that effects Vietnam.
-Christians in Vietnam are vulnerable to false teaching because of the lack of Bibles in the Vietnamese language. Pray for comprehensive understanding of the one true Gospel.
